Folks Healing Clinic is a place to enter a stream of healing — one that moves through nature, the seasons, and our own bodies.

We offer a different kind of medicine, grounded in rhythm, relationship, and rest. Treatments are seasonal, accessible, and practiced in shared space, allowing healing to unfold in quiet relation with others.

In a culture that prioritizes speed and solutions, Folks Healing creates space — for the body to settle, for balance to return, and for healing to take its own time.

Care is designed to be easy to enter and easy to return to. Treatments are affordable and offered on a sliding scale, with no appointments necessary. For those who value regular or seasonal care, we also offer a membership-based subscription that supports ongoing treatment at a reduced rate.

Our aim is simple: to make thoughtful, preventive, seasonal care available without urgency, complexity, or financial strain.

Membership

Healing unfolds through continuity, attention, and relationship over time. A Folks Healing membership reflects a commitment to preventive, ongoing care, much like a gym membership supports long-term strength and wellbeing.

Memberships support regular, seasonal treatment while helping keep the clinic accessible, community-rooted, and sustainable. They also help sustain the wider Folks Healing ecosystem, including educational and community offerings.

Members receive reduced rates for weekly care and priority access to treatments.

This model honors health as a living process and care as a shared responsibility — one we tend together, over time.

members receive:

  • commitment to on-going self care

  • skip to the front of the clinic treatment line

  • save money on weekly care

  • huge support for folks healing

Scope & Boundaries

Care at Folks Healing Clinic is offered by Folks Healing apprentices who are actively engaged in a supervised learning and practice environment. Apprentices are trained and closely supervised by licensed and certified Chinese medicine practitioners.

Folks Healing operates in accordance with California Business and Professions Code Section 2053.5 & 2053.6, which allows for the lawful public practice of complementary and alternative health care services, including folk and traditional healing practices. Chinese medicine–based, non-licensed healing practices fall within this scope under California law.

Care offered through Folks Healing is non-licensed, educational, and community-based in nature. Folks Healing is not a medical clinic and does not diagnose, treat, or replace licensed medical care. Services are intended to support wellbeing, seasonal balance, and self-care, and are best understood as complementary to — not a substitute for — primary, urgent, or emergency medical services.

Participation in Folks Healing is voluntary. Individuals are encouraged to continue working with licensed healthcare providers for medical concerns as appropriate.
