Zi Wei Dou Shu, also known as Purple Star Astrology, is a classical form of Chinese astrology that uses your exact birth day, time, and location to create a chart. This chart reveals two layers: Character (described through four distinct Chinese Zodiac Animals) and Fate (described through the placement of stars in various houses or life domains, such as career, health, and relationships).
Zi Wei Dou Shu emerged in its current form more than 1,000 years ago, though likely was created by merging together much older forms of astrology from pre-historic West Asia and Persia. It remains one of the major systems of astrology practiced today in China and Taiwan.
