Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is able to treat internal and external, acute and chronic medical conditions. The list of ailments that TCM can treat is long and varied and is commonly used to treat: pain, nausea, and other gastrointestinal conditions, hormonal and gynecological issues, addiction, stress, fatigue, anxiety, and side-effects of western medical treatments and pharmaceuticals.

  • Acupuncture uses very thin needles inserted at specific points on the body to alleviate pain, move stagnation, and harmonizes the body/patient.

  • Cupping is used to treat pain, move stagnation in the body, and resolve tension. Suction is applied to the body using glass or plastic cups.

  • Gua Sha is a very old medical technique in which the practitioner lightly scrapes the surface of the body with a tool to alleviate pain, prevent the onset of a cold/illness, and expel pathogens before they embed deeper in the body.

  • Moxa is an effective treatment to help support and nourish functions of the body, increase energy, aid in rest & sleep, and soothes pain in which a hand-held incense stick of mugwort is used to warm acupuncture points with or without acupuncture needles.
