Thuy Nguyen is founder and director of Berkeley Community Acupuncture. She received her Masters Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in the year 2000 and has been evolving her practice and understanding of health, medicine and community ever since.

Daniel began studying the Chinese medicine in 2012 via Da Yuan Circle. He completed a 500 hour massage certification training focused on Tui Na (Chinese medical massage) at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences (ACCHS) in 2019. Daniel offers Tui Na massage, 4 Animals Astrology, and Healing Feng Shui services.
Liang-Yu Kung
Liang-Yu Kung is a California Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She received a MS in acupuncture and herbal medicine from Five Branches University Graduate School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2012 and a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) in 2018.
Liang-Yu is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Sam Lai
Sam Lai (she/her) is a queer, mixed-race acupuncturist focused on general practice, with a specialization in sports medicine and pain management. With training that blends the precision of sports medicine acupuncture with the gentle techniques of Japanese acupuncture. Sam is committed to promoting healing for whole-person wellness and supporting individuals through challenging physical and emotional transitions.
